I got two types of goals for this year at Alcedo. I got sports performance goals and board oriented goals.
For my sports goals, I would like to get my fastest 400m time to get under 40 seconds as it is currently 42 seconds. On the figure skating side I would like to learn at least one full rotation jump, so either a salchow, (toe) loop, flip, lutz or maybe even an axel.
For my board oriented goals, I would like learn how to lead a team, see my fellow board members shine and excel in their particular roles and make Alcedo thrive as an association.

I hope to make this a fun and educational year, developing myself personally as secretary and inspiring people to join skating and inline skating. I also hope to share with our members the sense of community and camaraderie that initially inspired me to join this wonderful club.

This year at Alcedo, I want to grow our presence to show a wider audience what we offer and why we enjoy doing it. Having served on the Marketing committee last year, I'll continue to relish designing and posting our content and bring my own touch to the visuals. On the sports side, I'm ambitious: I will keep practicing until I achieve an axel and master the skills I already have as well. Overall, I am confident that our efforts this year, and the many before us, will help Alcedo reach milestones.
Fenna Bosch
Hi! My name is Fenna and I'm excited to take on the role of Event Commissioner at ESSV Alcedo. In this position, I aim to bring both fun and structure to our activities. One of my main ambitions is to organize a memorable Gala. I would also love to create a representative and user-friendly website for Alcedo, so that our association is well presented to both members and newcomers.
As Event Commissioner, I find it important to make sure our activities are planned and executed on time, while also encouraging more interaction between figure skaters and speed skaters during events. I'm looking forward to an exciting year full of learning, new challenges, and of course lots of skating!
