For the first time in almost 2 years, we had the chance to represent Alcedo at a IUT at the Braga Sprint Cup in Tilburg. With a little group of 4 ice skaters, 1 coach and a very enthusiastic assistent coach we defended Alcedo’s honor. And it went well, we came back to Rotterdam with two gold medals. Paulien won at her debut gold in the women C category. Erik won gold as well in the men B category with a PR on the 1000 meters as well, very promising for the rest of the season. We would like to thank TSSV Braga for organising the tournament and we look forward to more competitions where we can defend our podium places against the other SSV’s.
